Tell Allaina

Your experience is local expertise.

No one understands a block, a commute, a school pickup, a business corridor, or a Village service better than the people who live with it.

Ask Allaina

Honest answers, including what is still unknown.

Public answers will use three clear labels so uncertainty is not hidden behind campaign language.

What I know

The facts that can be confirmed now, with sources where possible.

What I need to learn

The missing information, people to consult, or records still needed.

What I can do

The next honest action available to a candidate, resident, or trustee.

Listening standards

What happens afterward matters.

  • Acknowledge requested replies within two business days.
  • Route urgent safety or service matters promptly.
  • Do not promise outcomes outside the campaign's control.
  • Ask before publishing identifiable stories.
  • Report anonymous themes, follow-through, and listening gaps.
  • Support voice, text, phone, in-person, language, and disability access.
  • Plan every listening event across the Five Doors of Access.

For emergencies, contact 911. For a mental-health or suicide crisis, call or text 988. The campaign is not an emergency service or government agency.

A place to begin

Not sure what to share?

What gets Bolingbrook right?

What should be protected, celebrated, or expanded?

What makes it harder to stay?

Think about housing, costs, access, transportation, work, or belonging.

Where is the Village not listening?

Whose experience is missing from decisions?

What small change would help?

What would improve daily life on your block?

What is hard to understand?

Which Village service, rule, bill, or process needs clearer information?

What should a trustee experience?

What should every trustee see or do firsthand before voting?
